  • Rouba Haddad CEO Founder and Dietitian at PUSH Mama Care

    Rouba Haddad, MSc, RD

    CEO & FOUNDER

    Rouba Haddad is a pediatric dietitian and a graduate of McGill University, holding both a Bachelor's and Master's degree. With a strong passion for pediatric health, Rouba previously served as Head of Nutrition at the Shriners Hospitals for Children, where she supported countless families through complex healthcare needs.

    In her clinical work, Rouba frequently heard from mothers feeling overlooked, overwhelmed, and under-supported during pregnancy and postpartum. Motivated to make a lasting impact, she founded PUSH Mama Care with a deep commitment to changing this narrative and creating a solution– an organization that combines expert care with holistic, family-centred services. As the Founder and CEO of PUSH Mama Care, she leads a pioneering healthcare company dedicated to bridging significant gaps in maternal and family wellness. Driven by empathy and expertise, Rouba is committed to empowering families to thrive during one of life’s most transformative journeys.​

    Outside of work, Rouba enjoys quality time with her family, friends, and her beloved dog. She loves discovering new restaurants, diving into trivia, and collecting random facts—always fueled by curiosity and great conversation.

  • Amanda Berger Dietitian

    Amanda Berger, MHSc, RD

    REGISTERED DIETITIAN

    Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Food, Nutrition and Health from the University of British Columbia and her Master of Health Science in Nutrition Communication from Toronto Metropolitan University. She is passionate about helping parents navigate pregnancy and postpartum with practical nutrition strategies that fit into their busy lives.

    Amanda is dedicated to making nutrition approachable and engaging. She has experience providing one-on-one counseling to support clients through preconception and pregnancy, infant feeding, managing of gastrointestinal conditions, and weight changes. She uses the latest research to make nutrition advice clear, practical, and stress-free. 

    She believes food should be both nourishing and enjoyable—especially during the often overwhelming transition to parenthood. At PUSH, Amanda provides realistic, evidence-based strategies tailored to your lifestyle. Whether it's navigating cravings, maintaining energy levels, or meal prepping with a newborn, she’s here to support you every step of the way.

    Outside of work, Amanda enjoys trying new recipes, staying active, spending time with friends and family, and seeking out the best local coffee shops.

  • Crista Wong Registered Dietitian and Project Lead

    Crista Wong, MHSc, RD

    REGISTERED DIETITIAN & PROJECT LEAD

    Crista earned her Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Human Nutrition from the University of Guelph and her Master of Health Sciences in Nutrition Communication from Toronto Metropolitan University. She is deeply passionate about supporting families during pregnancy and parenthood, focusing on optimizing infant nutrition and empowering parents to navigate this transformative journey with confidence and ease.

    During her master’s studies, Crista developed a strong interest in pediatric nutrition, which inspired her to write a policy paper on establishing a school food program for Canadian students. With experience in nutrition education and counselling across various life stages and chronic diseases, Crista brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Starting at PUSH as a student, she contributed to writing blogs, a recipe book, and various side projects. Now, she continues to channel her creativity into crafting engaging resources that provide families with practical, evidence-based tips.

    Outside of work, Crista enjoys spending time with her dog, Mia, exploring new hiking trails with family and friends, trying out new baking recipes, and playing video games on rainy days.

  • Sammie Li Registered Nurse and Lactation Consultant

    Sammie Li, RN

    REGISTERED NURSE & BREASTFEEDING EXPERT

    Sammie is a graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program from Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University). Over the course of her career, Sammie has gained incredible expertise through her work in acute care specializing in labour, delivery and postpartum care. Her career has been built around helping mothers and families through life’s most profound moments — pregnancy and childbirth — because it brings her incredible joy and fulfillment to support moms through this amazing journey. 

    Sammie recognizes that the challenges faced by expectant and new mothers can place a significant toll on their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. She believes that each individual is unique, and therefore she places a strong emphasis on creating personalized and holistic care plans tailored to each family that she supports. 

    As a mother herself, Sammie’s passion for maternal health grew deeper after the transformative experience of breastfeeding. She has completed continuing education in breastfeeding support and is motivated to help new mothers in navigating breastfeeding challenges in order to ensure the best health outcomes for both baby and mom. Sammie uses an evidence-based approach to help moms reach their breastfeeding goals.

    Outside of work, Sammie enjoys spending time with family, friends and her two bulldogs. With too many interests and too little time, Sammie spends anytime she can either working out, crafting, baking or catching up on shows.

  • Anna Persaud Registered Psychotherapist

    Anna Persaud, MDiv, RP

    REGISTERED PSYCHOTHERAPIST

    Anna earned her Master of Divinity in Clinical Counselling from Tyndale University, where she was trained in Family Systems Theory and developed a strong foundation in several evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

    Over the years, Anna discovered a heartfelt calling to support individuals and couples through the tender, transformative, and sometimes overwhelming emotional experiences of perinatal life. She has witnessed how emotional well-being can be overlooked during pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood—moments when compassion and understanding are needed most. This is why she is deeply committed to changing that narrative and ensuring every parent feels seen, supported, and truly understood.

    At PUSH, Anna provides virtual one-on-one psychotherapy for individuals and couples navigating the profound transitions of pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenting. She specializes in perinatal mental health, couples therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy—an integrated approach that helps her to support clients experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), coping with birth trauma, working through fertility challenges, and processing grief and loss. Guided by a warm, client-centered approach, Anna creates a therapeutic space rooted in emotional safety, compassion and deep understanding.

    Outside of work, Anna loves quiet moments in nature, collecting vinyl records, and spending quality time with her family. 

  • Sherry Esmaeili Registered Physiotherapist at PUSH

    Sherry Esmaeili, MSc, BSN, PT

    PELVIC FLOOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST

    Sherry brings a unique blend of nursing and psychology to her pelvic health practice, allowing her to approach care with both clinical expertise and a deep understanding of the mind-body connection. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in Psychology from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Sheffield Hallam University in the UK. Sherry is certified in electroacupuncture through McMaster University and has completed Levels 1 and 2 pelvic floor training through Pelvic Health Solutions.

    With a holistic, client-centred approach, Sherry empowers individuals through all stages of the reproductive journey, from preconception and trying to conceive, to pregnancy preparation, birth, and postpartum recovery. Her care focuses on strengthening and coordinating the pelvic floor to support carrying a baby and recovery after birth, while helping prevent and manage concerns such as incontinence, prolapse, and lower back or pelvic pain. She also supports bladder and bowel function, core stability, and overall physical well-being, always tailoring treatment to each person’s unique goals and experiences.

    Outside the clinic, Sherry enjoys dancing, yoga, spending time in nature, reading, listening to podcasts, and connecting with friends and family.
